Scenarios

Scenarios let you jump straight into a story with nothing but an idea. No world to build, no character to configure — just a title, an opening premise, and the AI takes it from there.

Every other game on Isekaigen starts from a world — a pre-built setting with lore, factions, characters, and power systems. Scenarios skip all of that. You write the opening of a story yourself and the AI continues it, inventing the world as it goes.

There is no fixed player character. There is no world library to browse. It is the fastest way to start playing.

Click Start a Scenario from the homepage header. You’ll see a simple form with three things:

Scenario start panel

A short name for your scenario — up to 50 characters. This is just for your own reference so you can find the game later.

A checkbox that enables Director Mode for this scenario — third-person omniscient POV where you can direct any character across any scene, not just a single protagonist. Since scenarios have no fixed player character to begin with, Director Mode pairs especially naturally here.

The opening lines of your story. Write the scene exactly how you want it to begin — the AI reads this and continues from wherever you left off.

A good starting text sets the tone, the place, and enough tension to pull the story forward:

“You wake up in an unfamiliar city, rain hammering the windows of a room that isn’t yours…”

When you’re ready, hit Begin.

Scenarios are always Story Mode. There are no stats, no quests, and no relationship scores — the full focus is the narrative.

Because there is no pre-built world, the AI has no lore, factions, or character profiles to draw from at the start. Everything it knows comes from your starting text and whatever unfolds turn by turn. The Memory System will build up context as the story grows — important events get stored and retrieved the same way they do in any other game.

As you progess through the story whenever you encounter important characters they are already added to your story. You can change their backgrounds, edit their personalities, or remove them from the characters tab. You can also add your own characters.

💡 Tip: Put more into your starting text than you think you need. A richer opening gives the AI more to work with and leads to a more coherent world emerging from the first few turns.
